I'm trying to get Finalis-core up and running on Windows. The Linux version is working fine, but my Windows build just starts syncing and then crashes. Anyone know what might be causing this? I'm totally stuck here.

Have you checked the logs? It might give a clue about the crash.

Not sure if this helps, but the consensus model is deterministic. It shouldn’t have a fork-choice race. Better double-check that you’re following the finalized frontier path logic.

+1 to checking the logs. Might reveal more.

I've been through the repo. Noticed that mainnet params are in network.cpp. Make sure everything there is configured correctly.

What exactly goes wrong when it crashes? Like, is there an error message or just a complete shutdown?

It just closes without warning. Super frustrating.

Ngl, sounds like a typical Windows issue... You might wanna look at compatibility settings.

This is annoying. I wish there were more resources for troubleshooting this.

Definitely agree. It’s a bit of a pain to find solid info.
