The title says it all. Passive income can really help us cover family expenses and even live better. But think about it what if it becomes your main source of survival? During COVID, many people lost jobs. Those with passive income had it way easier, especially freelancers.

Exactly, I mean, during the pandemic, passive income was key. A lot of folks were stuck at home with no paycheck. Those hustling online found ways to earn. But honestly, that was just a temporary fix. Eventually, those who built solid income streams really thrived.

If you’ve got passive income, it’s like money flows in without you lifting a finger. That’s close to financial freedom. But let’s be real if it’s just enough for daily needs, you’re not there yet. Still, it’s progress, and we should aim for more.

Totally agree. Job security is a myth these days. Having passive income is like a safety net. If your main gig goes south, at least you’ve got something to fall back on. COVID showed us that we need to be ready for anything.

100% yes! If you don’t have that extra income stream, you’re living on the edge. Imagine losing your job and having no backup. It can seriously mess with your mental health if you can’t provide for your family. Get that passive income going.

For sure! A lot of people turned to freelancing or online gigs during the pandemic. It really opened eyes. We should all be looking for ways to earn passively, like crypto trading or becoming brand ambassadors. You never know when your main job might not cut it.

Oh, I can relate! We were both in that boat during the lockdown. Focusing on alternative income is a smart move. But it’s risky too just because you earn a lot at first doesn’t mean it’ll last forever. The world’s changing fast.

Right! Once you’ve got your finances sorted, think about passive income. But let’s be real it often takes either a lot of cash or time to build it up. Buying dividend stocks can take years to pay off. It’s a long game.

This whole discussion highlights how key side gigs are. People often overlook them, thinking they’re not serious. But when a crisis hits, those passive income streams can save you. Just like it did for some during COVID.

Good luck, man! I rarely hear about people living solely off crypto trading. It’s tough requires skill and constant learning. I tried crypto marketing but ended up pulling back when things got shaky. Dreaming of starting my own business one day.

Right? Passive income can be a lifesaver during unexpected crises. Employees always worry about getting laid off, but if you’re earning passively, you’ve got a cushion. Some people managed to keep afloat during the pandemic thanks to these income sources.

For sure, having passive income is key. It can replace your main income when times get tough. Plus, it’s a great way to bring in some extra cash. I totally agree that it’s essential for surviving crises.

In my country, it’s tough to make ends meet on a monthly salary. You can’t work forever eventually, you need passive income for retirement. Relying solely on a job won’t cut it. Extra income is a must for financial stability.

True! But it’s also important to build passive income when you have a stable job. If your salary is low, focus on emergency savings before diving into passive income ideas.

Can trading really count as passive income? It seems like it needs a lot of effort. To me, true passive income is like staking minimal involvement. Trading feels more like a side hustle.

I hear you! Even though it’s called passive income, you can’t just ignore it. You’ve gotta have a strategy or it could fall apart. It might take years to build up enough to cover costs.

Why not do both? Keep your active income while you build that passive stream. It’s smart to have different sources coming in, just in case one dries up.

Yeah, having multiple income streams is a good idea. Even if passive income is more effort than expected, it's worth it to keep options open.

First off, trading and freelancing aren’t really passive. You need to be involved to keep earning. But you’re spot on everyone should look for backup income that doesn’t require 24/7 attention.

Starting a business is definitely a smart move. No matter how much you make at a job, being an employee limits you. Owning a business opens up so many doors for tax benefits and financial freedom.
