Why doesn't Braiins Autotuner save multiple power settings?

Hey everyone I'm trying to figure this out. I want to switch power targets pretty often, maybe even every hour. I heard Braiins only keeps one power profile with their Autotuner. It takes about an hour to get stable after optimizing. Why not save every setting once it stabilizes?

That's just how Braiins works. The autotuner focuses on one optimization at a time. It adjusts voltage/frequency per chip to meet your current power target based on the temp and PSU fluctuations. If you change the target, it'll retune. They only keep the latest profile since older settings can become outdated as the hardware ages and airflow changes. If you need multiple modes, maybe stick to static profiles or swap settings, but expect some downtime for retuning.

And don’t forget, if the room temp changes, like it’s hot during the day and cooler at night, the miner will retune again. I’m not a fan of autotuning either. I prefer setting it to 90% max speed. Like if I have a 200th machine, I’d set it to 180th and just leave it.

Honestly, this makes me think Braiins might not be worth it for me. If autotuning isn’t a thing, what’s left? I mean, sure, there’s some power control, but the stock firmware has two modes right off the bat. Maybe I can just use that and skip the Braiins fees.

Braiins does have its perks though. You can manually adjust fan speeds for noise control. Plus, you can add aftermarket cooling. Don’t overlook the variety of fan settings and frequency options available. I’ve tried Braiins, vnish, epic controller, mara controller, and the stock Bitmain.
