Let's talk about why so few traders actually make it. Ever heard of survivorship bias? Those who trade like robots, sticking to their plans, have way better odds like 17 times better than those who just wing it.

For sure. It's about executing trades without emotion, right? Backtesting helps too. If you don’t test your strategy against past data, you're just gambling.

True, but backtesting isn’t a magic bullet. Just because a strategy worked in the past doesn't mean it’ll work now. Markets change.

I’m curious about those stats 1 in 10,000 traders succeed? Sounds extreme. Most studies suggest 5-10% actually profit.

It varies. We need to analyze which traders we're talking about. Personal factors play a big role here.

The market has its own tricks, and we gotta spot our weaknesses early. Not everyone can handle the pressure, but those who can might just thrive.

Yeah, backtesting has its limits. The market is so unpredictable now. What worked before might not work again. It’s like flipping a coin sometimes.

I feel like the OP’s data is sketchy. Those traits he mentioned? Basic trading discipline. Everyone knows that stuff.

Many new traders don’t put in the work. They rely on Telegram signals and jump in without thinking. That’s a recipe for disaster.

This is a solid take. But rewiring someone’s risk appetite? That’s tough. Some people just never learn.

Exactly, it’s not just about knowledge. You also need some instinct about risks. Most traders learn through failures.

I've backtested strategies for Forex trading, but with crypto, it’s tricky. The volatility makes it hard to predict anything.

So true. Most traders lose money, and the success rate isn’t as grim as 1 in 10,000. Patience and skill matter.

You nailed it. But greed messes everything up. Those textbook strategies fall apart when people get impulsive.

Agreed. OP's stats are way off. Let’s stick to reality instead of exaggerations.

Trading less can actually lead to more success. It’s all about waiting for the right moment. My issue is selling; I get all nervous when it’s time.

Right? Buying is easy, but selling? That’s the real challenge for many of us.
