Starting this thread since day trading is getting way too much hype. It's not what it's cracked up to be, kinda like MLMs but worse. The longer you trade, the more you lose, especially if you use use.

This isn't new info here. We've all seen the warnings about only trading what you can afford to lose. Seriously, over 85% of traders lose money. Hope you’re not one of them, especially if you’ve been trading a lot lately.
90% of stock traders are losing money... But what about the 10-20% who actually make consistent profits? They're rare, but they exist. Saying to avoid day trading is good advice, but what about those with potential to succeed?

I get that. Gambling is luck-based, but trading can be different if you know what you're doing. The more info you have about a coin, the better your chances to profit. Just start small to get a feel for the market.

Day trading is super random. No one can guarantee profits, and with 90% of traders losing, it’s a gamble. But if you’ve got the skills, you might just join that lucky 10%.

For most people, short-term trading is a losing game. If you're trying to trade based on news, you're already behind. Technical analysis? Just noise at times. You need a solid edge to win.

Totally agree, day trading is a risk. But if you’re patient and learn the ropes, long-term trading can pay off. Day trading might work for some experienced pros, but consistency is key.

Honestly, the best day trading right now is with MEV bots. They exploit loopholes for massive profits. But most day traders focus on TA and ignore the news, which is risky.
Wait, are we taking this as solid financial advice? So no one can profit from day trading? You saying we should just HODL?

Every trader has their own style. Whether day trading or swing trading, as long as you're profitable, it’s fine. Broker fees are low for crypto, and it’s about how much you know.

It's not just day trading that's risky. All trading comes with risks. We warn about it all the time here. Most people should just hold instead of trying to trade.
Yeah, I get you. Day trading is tough. I prefer long-term investing myself.

Trading is more about losing than winning for most people. I'm a long-term investor, and I think it’s better that way. What are you trying to prove? Prove it’s easy to win.
Trading seems like a good way to make money, but the reality is different. Many traders are losing but only show their wins. It's like smoke and mirrors.
There are definitely day traders who make it work. But luck plays a huge role. It’s like gambling in that way.
Pro traders don’t trade every day. They know when to step back. Amateurs just keep trading and ignore the risks.
You can only day trade if you're skilled enough to read the market. It’s risky, but with knowledge, you can minimize losses.

In my country, the tax on trading is 1%, which makes day trading pretty much impossible unless you’re winning all the time. Better to just HODL.
I disagree with comparing trading to MLM. There’s day trading and long-term trading. The latter can be profitable if done right.

If you’re new to day trading, don’t do it. You’ll lose a lot of money. Experienced traders follow their strategies and can make it work.
