Think of a pizza chain claiming they're the best. Instead of showing their pizza, they just trash the competition. Would you wanna buy from them? Probably not. That's how it sounds when folks say Bitcoin is way better than the dollar.

Yeah, your point's valid. If a brand has to tear down others to prove they’re better, it raises eyebrows. But honestly, big names still do it! Just look at Pepsi and Coke's ads, it's all about that playful rivalry that gets everyone talking.

Legit, maybe that guy is just behind the times. Is USD an investment or what? It seems to flip-flop. But let’s be real, holding dollars is just losing value compared to Bitcoin. Everything can be traded, so even Pokemon cards count as investments against USD.

True, but comparing pizza to a car? That's what saying Bitcoin is better than USD feels like. Sure, but this mindset is outdated. It’s like saying the Internet was just for scientists back in the day. Doesn’t hold up now.

I’ve seen plenty of people investing in USD, hoping the value goes up. In my country, a lot stash their savings in Euro to hold onto their purchasing power. You’re right, though. USD just keeps losing value while Bitcoin seems to offer growth.

Bitcoin isn’t just competing as money. It’s an alternative, a better store of value in a lot of cases. Different markets need different things. Some people think Bitcoin fits the bill better. And yeah, I bought USD when my local currency was tanking.

The dollar can definitely be an investment for places with crazy inflation. And gold can be a go-to when stocks or USD aren’t an option. Bitcoin’s future looks like it’ll stabilize, but it’ll still attract investors.

For sure. Bitcoin helps protect your savings from inflation. It can rise in value over time but isn’t just cash. It’s more like digital gold, acting as a growth asset.

No doubt, Bitcoin is solid for investing because it rises over time. But let’s not forget, in many countries, USD is a better option compared to their local currencies. People in those places see USD as a worthy investment. Still, Bitcoin's the way to go for hodling.

A pizza place could advertise their pizza better than a bitcoiner can explain why BTC is superior to USD. How do I even spend BTC on coffee? It’s not easy with all the transaction delays. With pizza, it’s simple, fresh ingredients, a good story...

I see your point, but there are cases that fall into the lazy category too. Leaving money in cash isn’t smart these days. With apps out there, it’s super easy to invest in something better than just holding cash.

If the dollar gains against the pound and people trade up, does that mean the dollar isn't a currency anymore? Bitcoin's got multiple identities. It can be a commodity or a currency. Just like that pizza store, they’re still a pizza place despite their marketing.

Exactly. They’re misleading when they imply their only competitor is some awful plastic thing. It’s not Bitcoin that has issues, but the way some supporters talk about it. Bitcoin has outperformed many assets stocks, gold, you name it.

No one really questions if BTC is a better investment. It’s more about how USD is treated. People don’t see it as an investment in the same way. For an American to hold USD as an investment? That’s wild. But for someone in India? Totally different.

First off, people really do invest in USD, especially from places with weak currencies. They prefer USD for its liquidity in global transactions. Second, Bitcoin was meant to be a currency from the start. Yeah, it's deflationary, but it’s still a currency.

Seems like a conflict of interest here. That guy’s connected to a service promoting memecoins as the fastest digital currency. His views on Bitcoin being slow don’t make sense if he’s pushing that agenda. Time’s too valuable for this, honestly.

Totally living in a fantasy world if you think Bitcoin’s just about the idealism. Christmas is about sales and profits now, not some ancient story. Bitcoin’s mainly about investment now it's not the best for transferring money compared to its rivals.
