So, all that Bitcoin I lost since it hit 120k? Apparently, that's like my contribution to keeping Bitcoin decentralized. I mean, if we think about it, that’s another way to invest, right? Just gotta wait for the payoff.

Price is all about supply and demand, no doubt. But Bitcoin itself doesn't do anything. Just because some coins are centralized doesn’t mean the whole system is.

Every lost Bitcoin kinda spreads the wealth among those still holding, I guess? But it's not just about stopping centralization. It's more about showing how lost coins can still help the network grow instead of just vanishing.

For Bitcoin to stay decentralized, it needs to be different from the fiat system. So, the losses we face as investors help keep that ledger clean. It’s a test of patience, honestly.

Time lost is just... time. I see lost coins as donations. Maybe they went to someone who just dumped into some meme coin? Losing money doesn’t equal Bitcoin gaining it, though.

Honestly, I don’t get the OP's point. Is losing coins from volatility really a way to help the network? I mean, losing coins through scams doesn't protect Bitcoin at all.

Even if you sold your Bitcoin, someone else probably bought it. The decentralization is still there as long as no one has 51% of the hash rate.

When I read the title, I thought it was about losing access to wallets. Unrealized losses only matter if you sell. These numbers are just that numbers.

Buying at the top? Yeah, you gotta realize that Bitcoin needs to hit crazy highs again. Watching it drop just makes you want to hold on tighter.

I lost a lot trying to keep things decentralized. Centralization just keeps winning, though. There are always people ready to exploit it for their gain.

Losing value is still a loss. Trying to justify it to feel better won’t help. You can always sell Bitcoin P2P without it being a contradiction.

Wow, so you thought cloning cards was keeping things decentralized? That's a new one! Newsflash! Bitcoin’s drop means rewards drop and only the strongest survive.

I used to trade on localbitcoins. Dealing with random people can get dicey. I didn’t do anything wrong, but decentralization doesn't always work as it should.

Lost bitcoins don’t measure anything for decentralization. They are like unwanted donations, not contributing to stopping centralization. High institutions can still manipulate the market, just like you said.

Contributing means not panic selling during bear markets and moving coins to non-custodial wallets. That’s how you help Bitcoin stay decentralized.

I think there’s more to it than just supply and demand. Even if demand drops, Bitcoin has its way of playing out. The rich respect the charts.

It’s tricky, though. If you held since 120k and now it’s 60k, you haven’t truly lost unless you sell. Hold tight, and you might be fine when the bull market comes back.

So we’re saying Bitcoin dropping is a win now? Sounds off, but yeah, it’s a chance to buy cheaper. But it’s all assuming Bitcoin recovers, like it has in the past.

When you say lost, do you mean coins sold or just lost access? If it's lost access, that’s a donation to the network, but it doesn’t help decentralization.

Time heals all wounds, right? If you hold onto those coins, they might recover. But throwing them away won’t help Bitcoin’s decentralization status.
