Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for the best spots to grab used Antminers. I've looked at a bunch of options like EBay, Amazon, and some Asia-based sites, but man, the scammers and crazy prices are driving me nuts. Any suggestions I might've missed?

I've had some luck with Alibaba. Prices fluctuate a lot with BTC value. When BTC dips, miners do too, and vice versa. But beware, the secondary market can be a bit sketchy since a lot of sellers come from mining farms. I trust a couple of sellers I found there who delivered solid rigs and didn’t rip me off. What kind of miners are you after?

That's good to hear! Appreciate the info. I'm mostly interested in scrypt miners, like the L3+ or newer Innosilicon ones. I’ve heard mixed reviews about Alibaba though. Would you mind sharing those links? Thinking of waiting for the prices to drop or maybe just get the AntMiner L7 directly from BitMain when it's out.

The one I found pretty useful is Ningbo Zanboo International Trading Co., Ltd. Their contact, Tracy, really helped me avoid some dodgy miners and had good prices on S19J and A10 Pro+. Also, Shenzhen Changcheng Technology Co., Ltd is worth a look. They have a lot of used rigs, but just keep in mind their condition.

Just a heads up, buying miners on Alibaba can be risky. If you end up with a faulty unit or a bad deal, you're pretty much on your own. “Trade Assurance” doesn’t really protect you.

Yeah, that's unfortunate. Do you know any other places for new or used miners? Almost every manufacturer seems out of stock. I really need to buy ASAP.

Supply issues in the silicon market are hitting hard. Are you in a rush? Might be smart to wait a bit. You could also consider P2P trading here; they have a decent escrow service.

If you're in the USA, check out blokforge.com. They often have new miners and some used ones from dismantled farms.

True, but I’ve bought a bunch from them recently without issues. Seems like I got lucky this time. With BTC down, I’ve noticed rig prices dropping too.

I live in New Zealand, but I appreciate it! These are the kinds of sites I need. Oh wait, I just noticed they do ship internationally. Could be cheaper too!

Check out Facebook Marketplace nearby. Just remember to test the Antminer before handing over any cash.

I actually got duped on Facebook Marketplace when trying to buy a couple of L3+ miners. Never going back there. Best bet seems to be buying directly from manufacturers.

We have used S19s available in New York. You can either pick them up or have them shipped and they’re still under warranty. Check out eastcoastmining.com.

My experience with Amazon and Alibaba has been more good than bad, honestly. If you decide to buy, just choose carefully; it’s all on you in the end.

Are there any spots for broken miners? I’m turning my old S1s into art pieces and would love to pick up some from different generations.
