Everyone talks about persistence in trading like it’s the holy grail. But honestly? If you’ve put in years and still can’t make it, maybe it’s time to explore other skills. Throwing money at accounts for years just feels like a waste. Trading isn’t the only way to earn a living.
When Trading Isn't Working, Maybe It's Time to Reassess

Absolutely agree with you on that. I’ve been trading for a bit, dabbling in technical analysis, but crypto futures have been kicking my butt. Those price swings are lethal. Switched to spot trading, keeps me out of the wild stuff.

Yup, spot on! Many think trading is an easy money machine, but that’s far from reality. If someone’s been at it for a year or two and still losing, they really should consider stopping. Trading has risks it's not gambling, but it's risky like it.
Exactly! And even pro traders take hits sometimes. But if your losses are outpacing your wins, something’s off. Accepting losses is tough, but it's part of the game. Trading can mess with your head, too.
Persisting doesn’t mean endlessly trying. It’s about learning and adapting from your struggles. Just remember, strategies don’t guarantee success it’s about luck and skill combo. Seeing some wins might keep you going through the rough patches.
Real talk here. Trading isn’t for everyone. If you've tried and still can’t seem to get anywhere after learning, it might be time to let it go. Peace of mind is important.
I quit around 2022 because it messed with my job. I actually enjoy my tech career way more than the stress of trading. When I realized I couldn’t balance both, trading had to go.
True, pride can keep people stuck in a losing game. Some hate to give up on what they've started, but if it’s only losses after a long time, it's smart to move on. Not everyone is cut out for trading.

Right? You can’t just jump into trading and expect instant profits. It takes time to build skills. And if you're not getting anywhere after lots of time, maybe it’s better to stop than drown in losses.
For sure! Trading is risky; plenty struggle to turn a profit even after a long time. If you’re constantly losing, seriously consider whether trading is right for you. Not everyone can profit off trading.
Exactly! It’s often easier to invest than to trade. If trading isn’t clicking after a little while, becoming an investor might be a better route. Just make sure to choose the right coins.
No doubt, not everyone will thrive in trading. There are other roles in crypto that can be more rewarding. If trading's not working for you, look at investing. It’s a lot simpler.
Couldn’t agree more! Trading isn’t meant for everyone. You can learn but if it’s just not clicking, stopping isn’t a failure. On the flip side, if you’re passionate about improving, dive deeper into strategies and analysis.
If you’ve been trying for years without improvement, it’s time for some self-reflection. Know your indicators well or consider learning something new instead of losing more money.

Seriously, who would keep trading after years of just losses? It’s unsustainable. At first, everyone loses to learn, but if you're not seeing progress, that says something.
Pessimism isn’t the way to go. I get where you're coming from, but we also need to encourage those still pushing through. Some successful traders might’ve thought about quitting, but didn’t. Start small, manage risks.
Change my mind: "Please Give Up Before Trading Wrecks You!" If you’ve lost for years, wake up. The glamorized trader life? More like a myth.
Lol, so true. Trading isn’t the only way to lose cash. Better to realize that early.

Trading isn’t a quick win gig. It’s like a dedication course. You’ll need to commit time, or else you might as well throw money in the trash. And shortcuts? Forget it, you’ll just lose more.
Newbies always think trading is an easy way to riches. Once they experience the harsh reality, they see it’s not a walk in the park. Losing doesn’t mean stop; it's learning.
