You can mess with silver prices for a bit, but not forever. You can't make tech stuff with paper silver, right? Samsung's only getting a fraction of what they need. Everyone's throwing out wild price predictions for the next few months.

Caught me off guard. I thought of the Lone Ranger and his horse when I saw this thread title.

Is that a hint about the new year? January 2, the silver export ban from China is kicking in. Physical silver is where it’s at.

Silver is a weird play. There was a dip at year’s end, though. Some conspiracy theories are popping up about trying to push prices down.

I see physical silver is in short supply. The price for actual silver is around $93, while paper silver is at $72.

Chinese ports are refusing silver shipments now. Huge demand coming, though, and I doubt it’s going to disappear anytime soon.

Silver's looking way better than gold right now. I mean, every tech company needs it, and it’s got a real use case. I see it hitting over $100.

Banks have been shorting silver like crazy. They have shorts going for the next 5 years. Physical and virtual silver prices are gonna split.

How does that make sense? They’re both silver. Prices should match up. It’s like with bitcoin; spot and futures don’t usually differ much.

#10 Feb 15, 2025, 01:50 AM You’re not seeing the bigger picture. Banks are doing some serious naked short selling, but the real supply can’t keep up. Physical silver is what matters.

#11 Feb 15, 2025, 06:29 AM Even the junk silver is gone fast. Only tiny bars left, and the price is ridiculous.

#12 Feb 15, 2025, 11:35 AM I’d short silver if I didn’t follow trends. It seems like a joke now. It’s trading like some meme coin.

#13 Feb 15, 2025, 04:34 PM Silver's got its uses, though. It's in everything from batteries to solar panels. It’s still a valuable commodity.

#17 Feb 15, 2025, 11:00 PM I sold a bunch of silver at great prices. Made a nice profit. Now I’m stacking up some cheap bitcoin with it.

#18 Feb 16, 2025, 12:56 AM Swapping assets like that makes sense. With inflation and interest rates doing their thing, it’s a warning sign.

#19 Feb 16, 2025, 02:20 AM I made a small profit and sold because I feared a crash overnight. Now I’m just waiting to buy bitcoin low.

#20 Feb 18, 2025, 01:39 AM Silver has surged like crazy this past year. It's leading all other assets right now. Tech uses it a ton.
