What do you think makes someone a trader? Do you need to blow your account to really earn that title?

Honestly, I don’t think blowing your account is a requirement, but let’s be real... most traders will probably experience that at some point. It's part of learning.

Anyone can trade, even newbies. You just need to analyze the market consistently. But yeah, blowing an account can teach you valuable lessons.

I agree with that. But for those who learn on their own, it can get risky. You might hit a lot of dead ends without proper guidance.

Right? A trader is anyone buying and selling, whether they profit or lose. If you know the basics and make trades, you’re a trader!

True, but if you’re not careful and it’s been two years with no progress, maybe it’s time to rethink things.

No need to lose money first to be called a trader. If you're placing orders, you're a trader. Period.

It really comes down to buying low and selling high. The definition is pretty loose, so overthinking it isn’t necessary.

I think a trader should be someone who can grow their account over time. If you’re struggling to profit, maybe you’re still learning.

Results matter. I’ve met so-called traders who don’t even trade. They just sell courses and call themselves experts.

Exactly! A true trader keeps pushing through losses and learns from them. Quitting after a setback isn't the way to go.

Losing money is almost inevitable when you start. It’s normal, but the key is learning from those mistakes.

What qualifies you as a profitable trader? That’s what we should discuss. Anyone can call themselves a trader.

For me, if you're making consistent profits, then you’re a trader. If you're just dabbling, you’re more of a casual player.

You nailed it. Blowing your account isn’t a must. I've seen newbies do well without ever hitting that point.

Being a trader isn’t tied to your account balance. I can trade now, and that makes me a trader regardless of the outcome.

Even part-time traders can be considered traders. There are different kinds, like scalpers who may not trade every day.

Knowledge is key. You need to understand graphs and patterns, even if you're not trading all the time.

Absolutely. A trader must handle emotions well, or they're not ready for the pressure that comes with trading.

Anyone can trade, even if they hit lows. As long as you know this is your goal, you’re a trader.
