Trump's term wraps up in early 2029. He's been the most crypto-friendly president by far. I wonder what will happen to crypto prices once he's gone, especially if the next administration isn’t cool with crypto. If a Dem gets in, it could seriously hurt the market right?
What Happens to Crypto After Trump?

Not so fast. The Republicans have a solid grip on Congress right now. If Trump loses, crypto will be fine. We've weathered storms before, and the market's matured. I bet the new admin won't go full anti-crypto because it’s now mainstream.
But 2029 is ages away in crypto terms. Lots can change by then. I'm sure laws will evolve to support crypto's growth further. Trying to ban it now is tricky with so many entities involved. Look at those big ETFs coming into play.
We can't just assume the Dems will go after crypto hard. If their policies benefit most Americans, they'll stick with what works. Sure, a hostile government could be rough, but it won't tank the whole system.
Honestly, we can’t control who’s next in line for president. Trump did lay some groundwork for crypto, but his time is limited. Let's not forget he capitalized on it for personal gain, not necessarily for the community.
Bitcoin isn’t tied to any president. Relying on the government for price support goes against what crypto is about. Under the Biden admin, Bitcoin soared too, so that argument doesn't really hold up. Plus, Trump's policies kinda pushed crypto into the ‘scam’ zone.
Are you saying if a Dem wins, they'll just keep crypto business as usual? That seems optimistic. New leaders bring new priorities. Who knows how they’ll handle crypto?

True, Trump’s been around for a bit, but the crypto scene's been evolving for decades. If the next leader is anti-Bitcoin, the global support for it won’t just vanish. People believe in it now, and it's embedded into our economy.
Plus, a huge chunk of potential crypto users live outside the US. The whole narrative that US policies dictate crypto’s fate is quite flawed when you consider the bigger picture.
It's all speculation at this point. Historically, the Dems haven't been crypto-friendly, which played a role in the last election. If they still resist, they'll be out of sync with public sentiment, but the market will adapt.
People are banking on this Trump era to invest in new coins. There’s a belief he’ll throw some funds into them before leaving, so we’ll see a price bump. Gonna be interesting to watch how all this unfolds.

I used to think the Dems were anti-Bitcoin, but maybe it’s more nuanced. They’ve never publicly condemned it outright. Trump’s just painted them as the enemy because of his own agenda.
An anti-crypto government could stunt growth, no question. The US is still a major player in crypto. If they turn hostile, it could spell disaster. Remember how BTC shot up post-election? Political moves definitely impact market behavior.
Not sure I buy the idea that changing presidents will shake things up much. Bankman-Fried, a huge donor to the Dems, ran one of the biggest exchanges before it crashed. Their ties to crypto are complicated.
Doesn’t matter much what Trump’s done to help crypto. Sure, he’s pro-crypto, but honestly, all parties want to profit. Plus, all this hype around Trump’s coin was just a bubble waiting to burst.

Definitely! For Trump, being labeled as the 'pro-crypto' president seemed like a way to grab headlines. But what real changes did we see? Are we just going to ignore the damage from his actions?
He’s probably just trying to cash in on the crypto craze with his own tokens. Dems might keep things more balanced going forward, nothing majorly restrictive.
Yeah, they seem to just ride the crypto wave without genuinely supporting it. There hasn't been any solid change to back the industry up from any of them.
Lol, it’s wild how mixed the signals are from all sides. But to say Trump's presidency won’t affect crypto? That's naive; his words and policies have consequences.

People are way too quick to put their hopes into one president's legacy for something as decentralized as Bitcoin. The market is way bigger than the whims of politics!
