Wealth vs Success: Are They the Same?

So I moved back to my hometown after years in the big city, met some old friends. They asked where I bought my house, and I said I rent. Suddenly, I was the "rich guy" in their eyes. Then they asked about my car. Told them I don’t drive. Their whole perspective changed in seconds.

If you can afford a car, why not get one? It's super practical. It helps you save time and makes life easier. You don’t need a fancy ride, just something functional. If you’re sitting on cash yet avoid getting a car out of stubbornness, rethink that.

Totally agree, OP isn’t really wealthy yet. For most, a house and car are just normal, not indicators of wealth. Real wealth is when those items don’t even faze your finances.
