We should definitely do a poll on this. What mistakes did you make this year that you want to avoid in 2026? My biggest advice is to trade only with money you can afford to lose. Ignoring that rule has led to so many issues for me.

Yeah, it's easy to say but hard to follow. I relied too much on technical analysis when trading because of the Trump-China news this year. Total loss for me. Now I’m convinced fundamentals matter way more than charts.

I messed up by forgetting to close trades. Not kidding, it happened like five times. I’m setting my stop-losses better next year to avoid missing profit opportunities.

I regret not grabbing some altcoins early in the year. I was too focused on Bitcoin and ended up selling it too soon. Also thought Bitcoin would hit $100k by December. It’s all part of the game though. Just gotta prep for 2026.

I hardly traded but my biggest mistake was during that market spike in early October. Everyone was hyped, then bam, it tanked. I lost a chunk. Maybe it was overconfidence? Who knows.

So I made four key mistakes this year. First, I overtraded. Had cash but lost track of managing it. Then, I dabbled in memecoins and lost big time. Lastly, my trading funds were a mess.

I voted for overconfidence too. I thought I knew the potential of the tokens I was trading but got blinded by hype. Ended up losing instead of winning.

Honestly, I can't even count my mistakes and wins. It's all part of the experience. Just need to make sure my mistakes don't outweigh the wins. Trading isn’t something to take lightly.

I trade Bitcoin cautiously when I see solid signals. Managed to profit a couple of times this year. I focus on Bitcoin now and it's paid off compared to altcoin trading.

So true, once you start making money, you think you’re invincible. That’s when traders mess up. Patience is key, but when profits come, traders lose their cool.

Greed is real. I often hold trades too long, hoping for more profit which leads to overtrading and losses. Yeah, it’s a common trap.

The biggest mistake for me was trading meme coins. I realized it’s more gambling than trading. Next year, I'm sticking to Bitcoin and solid altcoins.

I regret trading Bitcoin this year. Should have just held it and traded other coins. Got liquidated in October because I was too confident. Lesson learned.

Mine wasn’t about trading but holding. I didn’t sell when prices rose, thinking they'd keep climbing. They didn’t. Greed got me. I should have taken profits.

You mentioned altcoins, but what about shitcoins? Some of those should never be traded. They’re just gambling, not real trades. We should talk about traders not having a specific trading schedule too.

I picked overtrading, overleveraging, and altcoin trading as my mistakes. Overleveraging especially wrecked me. I went x50 on a gamble and lost even more.

I don't trade much, but I lost a lot on memecoins. I was greedy and thought the price would keep rising. Learning from that for sure.

Trading new projects was a nightmare for me this year. I also traded amounts I couldn’t afford to lose. Listening too much to others led me to bad decisions.

I think leaving altcoins behind really improved my results. Bitcoin gives you time to think and reflect. Spot trading offers a buffer from immediate losses.

2025 wasn’t that volatile to call my moves mistakes. Even if I didn’t sell at the ATH, I didn’t face major drops. I shouldn’t have sold ETH when I did, though.
