Thoughts on National Fiat Stablecoins

Did you hear about KGST? It's a new stablecoin on Binance, pegged to the Kyrgyz Som, possibly backed by gold. I think having stablecoins for different countries is cool and could reduce reliance on the US dollar.

Governments are more into stablecoins than decentralized options. I don’t think this will draw in altcoin investors, though. Stablecoins just don’t have the same allure.
