Mark Karpelès, ex-CEO of Mt. Gox, just dropped a proposal for a hard fork to recover about 80k BTC. Not sure how I feel about this... seems kinda sketchy, honestly. Gonna mess with Bitcoin's core principles, which is not cool. Anyone else think this won't fly with the community?

Yeah, I saw that. There’s already a thread about this proposal. It got shut down on Github, but honestly, if actions speak louder than words, that says a lot. I doubt he’ll get the support he’s hoping for.
Lol, OP, maybe you should check the other thread first. There’s a fine line between sharing info and spamming the forum, you know? It’s best to keep it all in one place. Like Cookdata pointed out, it’s not cool to create duplicate threads.
