In past bear markets, Bitcoin's dominance dropped to around 40%. Why isn't it doing that again now? Will it fall soon or is it too stable for that?
Thoughts on Bitcoin Market Dominance

It's actually Bitcoin's market dominance we're talking about, not just the cap. Get your terms right. You can check Bitcoin dominance on some sites for accurate numbers.
Definitely agree Bitcoin holds strong, especially in bear markets. Altcoins tend to crash and burn, so investors often ditch them for more reliable options. Lots of altcoins just fade away.
I got a chart showing Bitcoin at 59% dominance. Yours says 58%. But here's the catch: many keep their Bitcoin on Chinese exchanges, which messes with the market. They manipulate prices to favor their own coins.

It's just the nature of the market. Ups and downs happen. Just keep holding on and stay positive.
Let’s not jump to any conclusions yet. The bear market is just starting. We can’t predict how low Bitcoin will go. It’s all speculation until it’s over.

This bear market is definitely messing with people's minds. Speculation is running wild.
We can't really say how much Bitcoin will drop yet. Past bear markets saw 40% declines, but this one's still unfolding. Don’t rush to judge.
Market cap is tricky during a bear market. Numbers can get skewed, and while it may drop, it doesn’t mean Bitcoin’s relevance will vanish. A 60% drop could still leave us at 40% dominance.
If you look at the historical charts, Bitcoin dominance doesn't really follow price cycles closely. More altcoins are coming in, and they don’t perform well either.
Institutions play a big role in the market. They won’t just dump Bitcoin for risky altcoins. They think long-term, and that keeps Bitcoin strong.
I have some ideas to help Bitcoin's dominance: 1. Don't keep it on Chinese exchanges to avoid manipulation. 2. Buy Bitcoin regularly, even small amounts. 3. Get a mining rig to build up your stash.

Yeah, bigger institutions definitely favor Bitcoin. Altcoins are more for smaller investors looking for quick gains.
Absolutely! Bitcoin’s market cap is super important. It’s key for any asset. Smart investors know what they’re doing, even if it looks risky.

LOL, exactly. Makes you wonder how some people think they can outsmart the market.

Me and my family are all in on Bitcoin. It’s a hot topic everywhere we go.
*not sure if you're serious*
Most folks on here don’t care much about the market cap. They just want to know how Bitcoin's doing and maybe check their altcoins.

I’m all about supporting Bitcoin. Even with little funds, I try to buy daily while prices are low.
Seeing Bitcoin's dominance drop could be a chance for many to invest. Some are selling off to buy the dip, aiming for long-term gains.
