Hey guys, what do you think about the BitAXE Gamma 601 solo miner? I'm thinking about getting like 50 of them to kick off my own solo mining farm in my basement!

Quick search shows each ASIC uses around 18W and costs about $150-200. If you're getting 50, you're looking at like $7,500 to $10,000. Honestly, you might wanna consider a bigger ASIC like the S21. Better efficiency and hash rate, plus easier to manage.

Yeah, I thought the same! The Gamma has lower wattage, so I figured if I run a bunch of them for a year, I'd have a decent shot at mining some blocks. My plan is to slowly save up and grow my farm with these cheap miners. It fits my budget better.

Just a heads up, we can’t access files from your PC. If you got something to show, try uploading it to a site like imgur and drop the link here.

My bad, just figuring this out! Here’s a link to the image with my farm plans. I hope it helps everyone understand what I’m aiming for with the Gamma miners. BTCBTCBTCBTC https://ibb.co/99vZds6L

Check this out instead. The T21 model runs 47TH at just 1000W for about 2k. I'm working on my version too, I could sell it for 1500. Wouldn't waste cash on those BitAXEs.

Interesting, I saw the Bit chimney but haven’t dug into its heating capabilities yet lol. Thanks for the offer! Money’s tight for me right now since I'm helping my mom with bills. Would you be open to a payment plan with a deposit?

Let me help clarify something. Most info says the BitAXE Gamma 601 has a hash rate between 1 to 1.2 TH/s, not 12. So your chances are way lower than what you think, especially over time.

No, I meant I need a bunch of Gammas to hit 12TH/s. Each one gives about 1.2TH/s, so multiple units add up to what I need.

Not to be harsh, but if you’re struggling with bills, solo mining isn’t the way to go. Those miners are pricey, and you might not see daily income. You gotta pay rent before investing.

I hear ya, but I’ve been working two side gigs and currently have an S9. I’ve mined over $12 in about 10 days. Gonna grab a couple more S9s soon.
