Haven't grabbed an ASIC in a while, super cautious about scams now. Got some S17s before, quality was okay but the 50TH pros were kinda better. What's the S19 lineup like? Any bad models? Plus, any chances of new miners with this chip shortage? I'm in Canada and finding a legit seller is rough. Been scoping out kijiji but don’t wanna overpay for a new unit without a warranty. Bitmain warranty only covers the original buyer, right?
Thinking of buying S19j 100TH miners

Canadians worried about Chinese laws, huh? Doesn’t seem like it affects us directly with mining regulations in Canada. If your Bitmain ASIC is still good, why not just keep mining? At least you should know the local rules.
Seems Bitmain doesn’t have any authorized sellers in Canada, just a couple in Russia and Dubai. Stick to buying from known places only, like the manufacturer or verified distributors. Watch out for sketchy websites. Eastcoast mining mentioned here looks iffy.
I don't even have my ASIC anymore, too many issues. Wouldn’t start well in the cold either. Had to get it fixed, mined a bit, then sold it off. My worry was if Bitmain would seize my order or just take my cash without delivering. Definitely sticking to Bitmain from now on.
The S19 Pro series sounds solid! The 100, 104, and 110T models seem to run without issues for me, way better than the old S17s. No heatsink problems at least. Plus, there are some trustworthy sellers in the marketplace section that save on shipping.
I own 35 x S19 95T, had a mixed experience. Issues like PSU and hashboard failures ugh. Just ordered some S19J 100T from Bitmain, crossing my fingers they’re better.
Bitmain's got them available on their site as of today. If you're worried about scams, just go through Bitmain directly. Or check Kaboomracks, had no issues with them in the past.
Hey! S19j Pro 104TH/s is still up on Bitmain's site. It’s got decent shipping times too. Prices are gonna jump later, good time to grab while it’s low. Bitcoin’s rising, so even older ASICs can still pull profits, but if it tanks, they might take a hit.
Gotta say, the S17 series just can't compete with the S19. The S19 Pro 100 is pretty stable. I flip second-hand miners, so hit me up if you need advice or want to buy.
If you can swing it, go for the higher THs. Way more profitable long-term if you plan to hold until BTC hits higher prices.

LOL, that’s a scam. A two-month-old site claiming to have 20,000+ customers? Sounds sketchy.
