Thinking About Bitcoin Mining?

hey everyone looking to jump into bitcoin mining. thinking about getting the nerdminer 550kh/s. not really sure where to start. can someone break it down for me like I'm 9?

before you buy that nerdminer, just think about your choices it’s basically a lottery miner. also, this probably belongs in the mining section, not here.

the nerdminer is honestly a waste of cash. it's more of a toy than anything. the speed is so low that most pools won’t even take it. seriously, even a BitAxe miner would be a better option. sure, you might find a block eventually, but the odds are like winning the lottery...like a million lifetimes.

only someone not in their right mind would use a nerdminer. seriously, go for a bitaxe instead. or maybe you just don’t know any better.

i actually think the nerdminer could be a decent starting point. just make sure you really understand bitcoin mining first. don’t just buy it and ignore it. learn how it works so you're ready for everything this crazy ride has to offer. and yeah, check out Bitaxe too.
