Just starting my journey with Bitcoin. I’m digging into both the techy stuff and the broader impact. How did it go from just being a peer-to-peer cash system to what it is now? Seems like it’s all about monetary freedom and resisting censorship. Was it always like this or did it evolve?

It’s honestly because Bitcoin does those things really well. People love the idea of no middleman and being able to control their funds. It started off as a novelty, right? Like those early faucets giving away coins. You can’t really cover all the history since it keeps evolving.

Satoshi built Bitcoin on earlier tech foundations and left it open for growth. Big point here is the decentralization. Check the Bitcoin white paper if you haven’t. It really lays out the vision.

Why don’t you check out some resources? Like the peer-to-peer model or a basic guide to how Bitcoin operates. Stuff like that helps.

But seriously, the endgame idea of Bitcoin isn’t something that wraps up neatly. Wealth isn’t created from thin air. Bitcoin’s rise took time and struggles now it’s becoming its own sort of bank. "I’m the bank now" kinda vibe, you know?

Definitely part of it was the timing post-2008 crisis. People got fed up with banks and want freedom, so Bitcoin fits that need. Honestly, it feels perfect as it is now.

Endgame? For real, Bitcoin is the ultimate goal. Like Michael Saylor said in an interview, even if not all he says is gold, he’s right about Bitcoin being the future for those who really get it. To bank users, we’re the crazy ones, but to us, they’re just clueless.

The whole situation during COVID made folks rethink everything, right? People started moving toward self-sufficiency, cutting out middlemen, and embracing freedom. That’s what Bitcoin is about too doing business and living without the central authorities breathing down your neck.
