Tether is really the backbone of crypto trading. Their success means more liquidity for Bitcoin and others. What do you guys think about their new fundraising and this whole valuation jump?

USDT is crushing it as a trading pair. The volume is miles ahead of USDC and the rest. It's not surprising they could secure such a high valuation. They’re even making $10 billion in profit this year alone.

Totally agree, USDT is a big deal for the industry. With a market cap over $184 billion, it’s clear they’re doing something right. The more stablecoins, the better it is for Bitcoin too.

For sure, Bitcoin benefits from all this stablecoin action. The more liquidity, the more trading and trust in crypto. Tether's role is huge.

Yeah, stablecoins kinda bridge the gap in crypto. We might not love their centralization, but without them, Bitcoin wouldn’t be where it is today.

That valuation is wild, signals strong demand for stablecoins.

Demand for stablecoins is only gonna rise with more trading platforms starting to integrate crypto. Big things are coming, especially with US Bank getting involved.

The only way Tether hits $500 billion is if Bitcoin crashes, right?

That’s a bit extreme, but yeah, $500 billion feels optimistic. Investors are probably betting on their growth, but they’ll face competition from newer stablecoins.

That theory is outdated. Tether’s been stacking Bitcoin for years. Heard they hold over 100k BTC. They’re not crashing it, they’re riding the wave.

They can raise funds like crazy because investors want in. If they have close to $500 billion, it’s gonna attract a ton of interest.

If Tether really owns that much Bitcoin, they’re smart to invest heavily. It makes sense with their level of exposure.

I’ll have an opinion when there’s a truly decentralized crypto that can’t be frozen. Until then, I don’t care if Tether is worth a trillion.

They won’t prove credibility easily. Any audit will likely favor them. The centralized nature means they can freeze funds, which is sketchy.

They’re the top crypto firm in revenue. If they reveal their profits, investors will flock to them. $500 billion might seem high, but they can reach it.

The issue isn’t the Tether crew; it’s external factors that could hit them hard. Good companies can still crash if things go south.

Tether’s built serious liquidity over time. They’re in a strong position to hit those high valuations.

I don’t see how their value aligns with risky asset volatility. Business demand is key, not just Bitcoin price fluctuations.

This is a big deal. They have a solid track record and are super profitable. I’m excited to buy in when I can.

What do you mean by ‘other factors’? Sounds like speculation without proof. Tether’s acquiring Bitcoin and gold like it’s nothing.
