I’ve noticed some pools are accepting fees under 1 sat per byte now. Slowly been sending transactions to show it works. Just a reference thread for everyone.

So, my first test was on Oct 5, 2025. I sent a transaction with 0.91 sats/byte, total fee was tiny, like 0.00000203 BTC. Here’s the tx link.

I’m using around 0.3 to 0.4 sat/vbyte for my sends and it’s been working fine. But right now, mempool shows like 0.5 sat/vbyte.

Would be awesome if OP shared the server they’re using. I have the LoyceV server for Electrum but I’d love to check out yours too. We need more options!

Using a standard Trezor 1 and Trezor Suite on my Mac mini. No fancy stuff here.

Pretty sure Trezor Suite does the server stuff automatically. Just use the wallets that can handle low fees like Electrum, Bluewallet, and Sparrow.

Yeah, they made it simple now. If your wallet doesn’t handle low fees, you can point to this thread as proof. Trezor offers different fee options now.

Just sent another one at 0.6 sats/byte on Trezor Suite. It’s super easy. Check out my transaction here.

Heads up to the mods, I split this for clarity. Wallets can mess up time estimates. It said 12 hours but got confirmed in under an hour!

Try 0.3 sat/vbyte now, you’ll get it confirmed. I’ve done it a few times and it worked.

I’ll give it a shot. Just did a transaction at 0.5 and it was confirmed in under 10 minutes. Pretty quick!

Can I share my experience? Used Electrum for a tx at 0.30 sat/vByte. Took some extra steps though.

This is useful info. People need to see low fees are possible. Even if my 0.11 fee takes forever, the 0.2 was quick!

With the mempool being what it is, good luck getting a 0.1 sat/vbyte confirmed anytime soon.

Timing is key. I sent one at 0.21 sat/vbyte and it took ages to confirm. Mempool is packed with low-fee transactions.

Yeah, I figured it wouldn’t make it. But 0.24 and 0.33 are solid rates.

I canceled a transaction after 50 days. Realized 0.11 wouldn’t work. But the 0.21 got through.

If only more mining pools took sub 1 sat/vB transactions. They’d rather mine non-full blocks sometimes.

Totally true. It’s that self-serving incentive that keeps fees higher. Need to double-check mempool fees.

Right now 0.3 sat/vbyte is decent. Fees have spiked since I sent at 0.21 before.
