I’ve always been someone who’s against using stop loss. It never really made sense to me. When I used high use, it felt counterproductive.

October 10, 2025... remember that crash? If you didn’t have stop-loss orders back then, you could’ve lost everything in hours. Sure, low use and stable coins work when markets are calm, but volatility makes stop-loss key.

Stop losses are part of risk management. Whether trading spot or futures, they help. I agree, less volatile coins are better, but even then, things can go south quickly.

Nah, I’m steering clear of stop loss for now. My crypto assets aren’t getting sold automatically. I believe in holding long-term, the market will bounce back.

The main point of a stop loss is to protect your capital. If traders lose their funds, they can’t trade anymore. So, this is vital. Careless traders skip stop loss, and it usually backfires.

But what about those careless traders who use stop loss yet still get rekt because of high use? It’s all about the risk you’re taking. Some might avoid stop loss when trading less volatile assets.

Seriously? You think most of us are greedy? That’s a stretch. I don’t trust traders who call others greedy for using stop loss. It’s like saying seatbelt users are cowards.

It’s better to skip seat belts if you’re cruising slowly than to speed and crash with a seat belt on. Slow and steady keeps you safe, right?

By that logic, you think all accidents are caused by reckless driving? Not true. Accidents happen to careful drivers too. You gotta accept market unpredictability.

Yeah, I admit it... I’m a greedy trader sometimes. Sure, I make money, but I also mess up. If I put a stop loss and then change it, I often end up regretting it.

Stop loss is for traders worried about their investments. It minimizes losses. Why call them greedy? They’re using a helpful feature. Explain why you think it’s just for greedy traders.

Not everyone who uses stop loss is greedy. For many, it’s a necessary risk management tool to stay afloat in volatile markets. Avoiding it is risky, not greedy.

I don’t trade anymore since profits are slim, but when I did, stop loss was my safety net. It kept my losses manageable when I couldn’t watch the market.

Using stop loss doesn’t equal greed; it’s just smart trading. It helps manage your risk and protects your capital. I’ve made money using it.

No one’s against your stop loss if it works for you. Some of us just prefer not to use it. I always plan my entries and exits. It’s just how I trade.

Skipping stop loss? Bad habit, man. Imagine going long on Bitcoin at its peak without one. That’ll wipe out your account.

It’s risky to trade without a stop loss. Some don’t like them because they don’t know how to use them properly. I’d only avoid stop loss if I’m trading with small amounts.

You’re contradicting yourself. You said some don’t use stop loss because they trade small amounts. Not everyone does.

That day, traders with stop losses got rekt too. Sometimes they don’t trigger because of market dumps. Doesn’t mean you should ignore stop loss totally.

I used to avoid stop loss, but I tried it recently. I found that while I did lose some trades, I saved myself from bigger pitfalls, so I adjusted my strategy.
