I feel like no major block explorers let you search by first bits anymore. I’m curious if there are any services left that allow that, even if it's just checking old data. Anyone know anything?

AFAIK, mempool.space has this feature now. But I guess many miss it since partial matches don’t always show. You might need to click on firstbits sometimes. Also, walletexplorer is an option, but it’s more like an address matcher than a full explorer and only gives one result at a time.

Yeah, I’ve used it and it’s solid. Had no issues finding addresses, though if there’s no transaction history, it won’t show anything. That’s pretty obvious right? Like it can’t find what hasn’t been out there.

Thanks for the info! Now I can finally look into those coins I lost the keys to ages ago. Debating if I should fix up an old hard drive to recover them. Been holding it for over a decade, maybe it’s time to check it out.
