I’m thinking we should have a thread where traders can share their experiences, like before and after their trades. It would be a cool way to help those still learning the ropes in trading. I learned a lot from seeing others' trades, so I hope this can help some newbies here too.

Good idea, but not many actually do this. Most just post their wins and skip the losses. If we’re gonna share, let's at least keep it relevant to crypto or forex, right?

I appreciate the focus on sharing actual trades. Too many just post predictions without backing them up. It’d be awesome to see trades illustrated with before and after images, especially if they explain their logic behind the moves.

I identified some key liquidity levels in GBPUSD and decided to sell, targeting the lower liquidity first. The results were great, especially since it was a news day.

Nice! A 7:1 risk-reward is solid. If your strategy consistently hits 1:3 or higher, you're definitely onto something.

True, but it’s not just about strategy. The risk-to-reward ratio is key too. Even with a 40% win rate, if your RR is good, you can still profit over time.

A lot of new traders don’t get this. They aim for 1:2 or even 1:1 and think that’s enough. But the market doesn’t always cooperate.

People should also show their losing trades. If everyone only shares wins, it gives a false impression that trading is easy. The GBPUSD trade you mentioned is great, but how many times did you fail before that?

I had losses before that GBPUSD trade, but I didn’t share those. I wanted this thread to keep a clear focus on learning from winning trades.

Maybe aiming for a 1:5 RR is better for new traders. They need to recover from losses without overtrading. Higher targets lead to better risk management.

I like seeing traders share the process, not just the results. A lot of folks only show wins, which can mislead others. I’m not a fan of major pairs like GBPUSD; I prefer XAUUSD for its volatility.

But this isn't just about forex. This is a trading forum, and we need to stick to crypto. Wins are awesome, but how about sharing complete trading journeys?

Looking at the XAUUSD, I think it’s gonna trend up for a while. It’s all about chasing liquidity.

Understanding liquidity is key. The market moves where there’s money to be made. Most traders lose because they chase the wrong signals.

You should definitely share your losses too, not just wins. That honesty can help others avoid the same mistakes.

New traders should aim for achievable goals. 1:3 is more realistic than 1:5. Targeting too high can lead to bad habits.

We gotta help each other out in trading. If someone’s struggling, sharing insights from our experiences can really make a difference.

1:3 is great for beginners, but sticking to that might make you miss out on bigger moves.

Congrats on that successful setup! It takes patience. I had something similar with XRP last month caught it in a sell position.

I’ve noticed that experienced traders often adjust their lot sizes based on their strategy to maximize profits. What do you think about that?
