I was checking out OP_Return code and managed to send a few transactions with my Bitcoin Core and Electrum. Now I wanna find a mobile wallet to do this on the go, but no luck so far. Why is there no decent mobile wallet for that? Seems odd, right?
Sending OP_Return Data from Mobile Wallets

You could try Electrum on Android. You might have to manually type the script in the "pay to" field. It's not super straightforward on mobile, but you can find the option under Send. Just be careful, I haven't tried it myself.

Yeah, mobile wallets for OP_RETURN are pretty rare. Who really wants to lock up Bitcoin just to send a message, you know? They upped the limit for spam, but demand is low. If there’s enough interest in data storage on the network, I bet we’d see more wallets pop up.
I remember Samourai wallet had OP_RETURN support, but no Android wallets do right now. Best bet is probably to use Coinb.in or stick to the desktop version of Electrum.
I saw that thread too, and it was super well-written. But I’m just looking for alternatives so I can use this on my phone. I hope OP_RETURN catches up to other features soon. I’m really hyped for collectibles like Ordinals. Hope Bitcoin enthusiasts notice this too.
Coinb.in? If your mobile wallet can sign unsigned raw transactions, then you’re good. Otherwise, you’ll have to export your private keys to sign. Just be careful, it’s a manual process and you’ll need to be spot on with your input and outputs or risk losing your coins.
That sounds like a cool project! I have an Android dev account, so I could create an app called "Bitcoin Transaction Tools" to generate various transaction types, including OP_Return. Broadcasting could be tricky, though. That part would be on you.
