Questions About the New Antminer S19JPro 122T Connector

Digging the specs of the new Antminer S19JPro but super confused about that mains connector. I mean, 25A connector? What is that even? Can't find anything on it.

Looks like some kind of specialized locking 220V cord. Should come with the miner, right? Here’s some power supply info I found: AC Input voltage: 200~277V AC Input Frequency: 50~60Hz AC Input current: 25A.

If you look at the S19JPro+ page, there's an RJ45 Ethernet connector for networking. But yeah, 25A is just the consumption from the mains.

I get that, but I'm really asking about the mains connector, not the ethernet.

Same here. Bitmain just said it’s a 25A connector when I emailed them. Kinda frustrating. I wanna buy these miners, but without the right connectors, I’m hesitant.

Exactly! It's like they’re hiding info. I’m betting it’s a custom connector that we’ll have to wire ourselves. If that’s the case, it better come with the miner or they need to sell spares.

I didn't see that listed anywhere either. Maybe I’ll check out some Chinese websites for it.

Yeah, most connectors are industrial-grade and pricey. Next step above 20A is 30A connectors.

Antminers have two external connections: network and power. Assuming you’re talking about power, right? Looks like a locking style connector that you might have to fit yourself.

I should’ve ignored that image. Looks like it might be a C19 connector. I’ve got a long list of options, but still no luck finding a 25A plug.

Could be an in-house solution, right? They probably couldn’t find an affordable connector that fits their needs.

If they provide a plug with some cable, I can terminate it to fit my existing setup. Got some connectors laying around.

I found something by Anderson Power that seems close to what Bitmain uses. Prices are better than those industrial connectors.

If that’s from Anderson, it makes sense. A 30A rating would give some safety cushion, and those plugs are smaller than industrial types.

Got sent a pic by a third party. Not sure if it’s final, but I heard the power cable comes in the box with the miner.

But the miner doesn’t actually pull 25A. If it’s 27.5W per TH, that’s around 3355W total. Even if you round up, it’s only 18A at 200V.
