Just heard Google claims their quantum computer can crack the bitcoin Blockchain in just 9 minutes! And they say it could happen by 2029. How do we protect our wallets before then? Can platforms like Trust Wallet or Coinbase come up with quantum-proof wallets?

Seriously, this is like the third thread about this in a week! Can we please check existing discussions before starting a new one? It helps everyone stay informed and cuts down on repetitive questions.
Honestly, no need to panic. Bitcoin is designed to adapt. When quantum tech evolves in 2029, so will Bitcoin. This has been the case since 2010! There are tons of experts on this, and the code is open-source.

But what about the inactive wallets? If those get accessed, it could flood the market and mess up everything. That’s a real concern.
Nah, it’s not gonna happen. What are you even gonna do with that info? Just research or keep spreading quantum fear?
Don’t forget, Bitcoin uses signature and hash cryptography, not standard encryption. You probably meant non-custodial wallets. The fix is to move your coins to a wallet that can create quantum-resistant addresses.
Hey OP, ever tried using the search function? Most of your questions have been answered already. I’ve seen at least three threads on this topic recently.
Why don't you just stop reading about it? Or do what you want while losing crypto in a casino. Feels like every quantum convo leads to drama. Just saying.
Look, there are loads of discussions already out there. If you check them, you’ll see what Satoshi had to say on this too. We’ve got time before any real threat hits. If it ever happens, developers will figure it out like they always do.
