Hey everyone,
I’ve got a couple of Phantom Wallets that can handle BTC. Just sent some Bitcoin to one of them, and now the app won't load at all. All my other wallets are fine, but this one just won't connect. Anyone else faced this issue or know how to fix it?

Did you happen to save the recovery phrase for those wallets? Or did you set it up through an email?
Also, have you tried updating the app? Sometimes that can solve glitches. If that doesn’t help, maybe try importing your wallet on a different device if you have one. But seriously, why use Phantom for BTC? There are dedicated wallets for that, right?
This is my first time sending BTC somewhere else. Usually, I’m just dealing with EVM and Solana. Thinking about importing to a different wallet. Got any suggestions?
I don’t really use Phantom much, but I know it’s a multi-crypto wallet. Based on my limited experience, I can’t help much, but let me give you some advice.
Honestly, mixing wallets isn’t a great idea for Bitcoin. Use a wallet meant just for BTC. It’s safer that way.
You could use the private key from that Bitcoin address instead. Using the seed phrase is riskier since it exposes your entire wallet.
To find the private key, go to "Manage Account" in your Phantom Wallet. If you're using the extension, click on your account icon, then the pencil icon. From there, choose the account with the BTC address, click "Show Private Key", and follow the instructions. Just keep that private key safe.
Did you send your BTC using a Taproot address?
If that’s the case, importing to Electrum might not work since it doesn't support Taproot yet. I’ve played around with some wallets, and it seems like Bitget supports Taproot. You could try importing that private key into Bitget.
