Parachain Auctions on Polkadot: What’s Happening?

Polkadot's auctions are going live soon. The first batch kicks off on Nov 11, 2021. Can't wait to see how this unfolds.

Yeah, they’re starting with a weekly schedule. Auction 1 runs from Nov 11 to Nov 18. Seems like they got a solid plan.

So, after the first batch, they’ll switch to every two weeks for the next round. Excited for Auction 6 in late December!

I’m all in on Acala for the auctions. It's a solid project. DOT will be locked for two years but worth it for those tokens.

Some are saying Polkadot is way overhyped. Limited parachains and all that. Octopus Network seems to be the better option, tbh.

100 projects is enough for a decent ecosystem, right? The auction model feels sketchy to me. What do you guys think?

Participated in Moonbeam, was a wild ride. Astar's looking good too. Really believe in their potential.

Only 28 hours left till the first auction ends! A lot of DOTs are locked already, with Moonbeam and Acala likely at the top.

Just saw an update from SubDAO. They’re working on bridging Web 2.0 and Web 3.0. Exciting stuff!

I’m looking forward to batch 2. HydraDX is on my radar, their Omnipool concept is intriguing.

Manta’s got their testnet live now. Users can try out privacy features, which is a big deal for the network.

Centrifuge is starting their crowdloan soon. They’re all about interoperability in the DeFi space. Sounds promising.

Not sure how much privacy payments will improve, but Manta’s definitely advancing in that direction.

Honestly, DOT had a rough start with the auctions. Many are more worried about Bitcoin's price than Polkadot’s progress.

Interlay’s crowdloan is live. They’re bridging Bitcoin and DeFi. Really hope they pull it off.

Real World Asset Market is launching on Aave soon. This could change the game for collateral in DeFi.
