So, apparently, a whale just moved between $2B to $6B worth of Bitcoin after being dormant for 14 years. Crazy right? Makes you wonder who’s behind it... Maybe Satoshi? Or a Ponzi scheme? Seems a bit fishy to me.

Not sure why everyone jumps to Satoshi when an old wallet wakes up. Back in 2011, a lot of Bitcoin was pretty cheap. People were buying it for like $2! I mean, we even heard about pizzas costing 10k BTC. So, it’s not like only one person had tons back then.

Exactly! It’s not like Satoshi was the only big player in the early days. This could just be someone who held onto their stash for years. We just don’t know who the wallet belongs to or why they moved it now.

Totally agree. It’s like every time they find an old wallet, the media screams "Satoshi!" But we really don’t know how many wallets he has... or if it’s just some random dude who got lucky with some old keys. Maybe some hacker got lucky and found the keys.

Yeah, and let’s not forget that people were mining Bitcoin on their regular PCs back in 2009. It was way easier to get back then. Those early miners could’ve racked up serious amounts without even trying hard.

If this whale is waking up now with Bitcoin above 100k, imagine what will happen when it hits a million! There are so many people out there who lost access to their wallets. But for this person who just woke up, congrats! You’re giving us all a bit of hope.
