Oklahoma is thinking about giving some tax breaks to crypto miners. A new law called the Commercial Digital Asset Mining Act of 2022 is making its way through. It’s backed by some state lawmakers and could help with costs for hardware and electricity. Sounds kinda interesting, right?
Oklahoma's Tax Break for Crypto Miners: Good or Bad?

Lol this is just another way for politicians to look good without understanding crypto. They have no clue that mining can actually help stabilize energy grids by using renewable resources. Like, miners can just switch off during peak times. So what’s the deal with all this? Also, did you guys see that the bill says you gotta invest at least 50k for just 1% back in tax credits? That’s a joke.

I’m curious how this will impact smaller miners. If you’ve got a few machines like ten or twenty 100Th ASICs, will you even benefit from this? I think it might just help the big players. Anyone else think it’s kinda unfair?
