New Tax for Crypto Miners in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan's introducing a tax for miners. It's like an extra 1 tenge for every kW of electricity used. Kinda strange timing, right?

1 tenge = about $0.0023, so not much honestly, but still… tax is tax. Heard it kicks in next year.

Yeah for sure, they're not dumb. Constant usage for mining is way cheaper than fluctuating use. Many countries incentivize cheap rates during off-peak times.
