Just wanted to share this new reset device I’m working on for miners. It self-resets cryptocurrency rigs based on a PC motherboard, super handy for anyone with a setup like that. You can use it wherever there’s a motherboard that has the right power switch pins.
Here’s how it works: it pings the local network to check for a suitable device. If there’s no response, it cycles the power on and off. Just needs to be plugged in via RJ45.

There are plenty of gadgets doing similar stuff by cycling power, like some PDUs that can connect to monitoring software. Those can reset multiple devices, which is a plus. The upside of a PDU is that it works with many miners out there.
I’d normally suggest moving this to the AltCoin mining section, but let’s be real, GPU mining has pretty much tanked since the merge... maybe tweaking your device for higher voltage could help.
My device has a lot more options though. You can control things like the relay short-circuit duration, reset intervals, and various other settings that the typical PDU lacks.
So yeah, it offers a lot more flexibility compared to what's out there!
