New Faucet for tBTC on Testnet

So I had to take down my faucet because I stopped renting a dedicated server. Prices just got too high for a side project. If anyone needs tBTC, just ask me directly.

This is super helpful for newcomers! Getting tBTC has been such a hassle lately since so many faucets are gone. This should really help devs out.

Not really sure, I used it ages ago. A quick search shows some guides for the test network setup, but I’m not an expert.

Looks like we still don’t have t-net... by the way, why is t-net difficulty so high?

Definitely, but keep in mind testnet’s difficulty can drop a lot, and miners can mine a bunch of blocks quickly.

Exactly, the low block reward is an issue. But there are still many faucets out there giving decent amounts. Most tests don’t require a ton.

Yeah, I get that. But it feels bad when you can’t just CPU mine some tBTC. I have enough from when I CPU mined ages ago, but it’s tough now.

Hey, if anyone has extras, I could use some for testing. Tried your faucet but it’s only giving small amounts. I need around 20.

Have you thought about using regtest? You can generate as much testnet BTC as you need in no time.
