New Bitcoin Improvement Proposal with $100 Reward

Anyone else think we could use a proposal here that could actually help Bitcoin? I heard there's a $100 bounty for a good idea.

Yeah but the last thing we need is a hard-fork. We could make improvements without all that drama.

Right? Like, there’s definitely a better way to approach this. A lottery using multisig on the Lightning Network seems way smarter.

I dunno, the whole idea of burning coins to reward miners sounds kinda off. Seems complicated for no reason. It’s a payment system, not a casino.

Exactly! A simple side-chain could work for a lottery instead of messing with Bitcoin's core.

We do have OP_HASH256 available though. If we could tweak that maybe we could redefine how we handle blocks.

That’s actually a decent idea. If we could make a new OP code that handles block headers better, it might streamline things.

But we gotta be careful. If sidechains don’t have enough miner support, it could backfire.

Honestly, I just feel like this whole proposal is doomed. The community won’t accept it, and that bounty is gonna be a wasted effort.

A Litecoin fork could be an option. Just saying.
