Need help with a delayed transaction

Seems like your transaction supports RBF. You could boost the fee to get it confirmed quicker. Try setting it to around 10 sat/vbyte. If you need help with adjusting the fee, just let us know what wallet you’re using.

Actually, @Tim, he can't do much since the OP is dealing with a broker. Best option might be CPFP, where he spends from the receiving wallet at a higher fee. OP, just wait it out it might clear soon.

No one here can really speed that up. Most of those so-called transaction accelerators just rebroadcast the tx or use free services. Honestly, just chill out. I saw 3 sat/vB lately getting through without issues.

Thanks for the insight. Coming from a broker who always sends with the lowest fees. It usually works within an hour, but when everyone overpays, transactions get clogged. Had to fork out fifty bucks before for faster service, super annoying...

You didn’t mention the wallet you’re using, maybe for privacy? If it’s self-custodial with CPFP options, you can speed it up by creating a new transaction using the unspent output. Way cheaper than paying for an accelerator.

Sounds like the broker isn’t using a good fee strategy. They tend to pick a mid-level fee, which causes delays. OP, for future transactions, try to use a wallet like Electrum or Sparrow so you can manage fees better.

Right, but 3 sat/vB should be fine. There might be other network issues slowing it down. I checked the mempool and it’s been unstable lately. Next time, just tell the sender to bump the fee.

Just saw, that transaction got confirmed and it’s sitting at 80 confirmations now! If you can’t get your broker to raise the fee, consider withdrawing to a non-custodial wallet. You’ll have better options for speeding things up.
