Hey folks, I'm diving into this project where I need to analyze transactions from around 100 crypto wallets to find any commonalities. Running into trouble with API limits, and there's just so much data to sift through. I've already tried some APIs like CovalentHQ and Transpose.io, but those rate limits are killer. Next, I tried tracking transactions for each wallet, but then I hit the same wall with the 100-wallet thing. Any thoughts on handling this better?

If you’re working with Bitcoin wallets, I’d suggest setting up your own full node and a block explorer that has API features. Bitcoin Core is solid for running a full node. For block explorers, Mempool has a ton of features, but you could also check out Bitcoin Explorer or set up an Electrum server for a simpler route. This way, the only limit you'll face is your hardware's speed, unless you want to cough up cash for a paid API with a higher rate limit.

Not sure what you mean by ‘wallets’ or ‘common transactions.’ You talking about addresses and their transactions? I’m with the idea of running your own node if that’s your goal. But if you're looking for group analysis on addresses, you’ll likely need to pay to bypass those rate limits.

Have you checked out wallet explorer? It’s a neat tool that groups addresses when they spend UTXOs together. Should make it easier to spot connections between addresses.
