Hey everyone, I’m looking to get into mining and planning to get 5 ASICs for Bitcoin. I live in a really hot area, so I'm also considering a small immersion cooling system to skip the whole air cooling mess. I’m thinking about safely overclocking all the miners to boost their performance. Here are my options: 5x Whatsminer M21s (50 TH) for $2500 8x Antminer T17 (42 TH) for $1700 5x Antminer S17+ (70 TH) for $2500 5x Antminer S17 PRO (50 TH) for $2500 Which setup do you think is better? Are Antminers really as unreliable as people say? Would appreciate any feedback.

Gotta say, those prices you're listing seem off. If you're not 100% confident in your source, it might be a scam. Trade assurance? That’s just a joke. If you end up with a broken miner, good luck proving anything. Anyway, if we’re talking about quality, the M21s is a serious step up compared to any of the Antminers on your list. Just keep in mind, overclocking on Whatsminer isn’t as straightforward as you think.

with raw hashrate, the T17s take the cake. You get 8 miners at 42TH each, that’s 336TH total. A bit less than the S17+s which hit 350TH, but remember, if one of those S17+s breaks, you're gonna lose a bigger chunk of your mining power compared to one T17 going down.

Also, don’t forget, these miners are used, likely from some Chinese hosting farm. You need to factor in cleaning them too, because you sure don’t wanna dump a dirty miner into your immersion setup. Plus, have an ASIC repair guy on speed dial. They’ll have issues eventually. I’ve heard solid things about Whatsminer, definitely worth considering over the S17s. By the way, which immersion system are you checking out? Is it a custom build or what?
