Gonna share a strange story from way back in 2010. I was in San Diego, chilling in a cab, and the driver starts raving about bitcoin. He was all in, saying it was the future, worth investing in. At that time, it was under 50 cents. I thought it was just a scam and didn’t take him seriously. Now I wonder if he was actually Satoshi!

Imagine if one day we find out that taxi driver had a chat with the real Satoshi! That would be wild. So many missed chances back then... people really had the opportunity but didn’t take it. It's like they’re just living with regret now.

Lol, fast forward a decade and someone’s gonna say they wish they bought bitcoin when it hit 100K... and it could even go to 2 million by then.

Yo, did that cab driver have some tech background or something? I mean, back in those days, it was mostly techies talking about bitcoin. How did he know?

Your story is a gem. It’s funny how people thought bitcoin was a joke back then, yet this driver was so convinced. But saying he might be Satoshi feels a bit over the top, right? You definitely misjudged bitcoin back then.

Did you actually take his advice and buy some bitcoin? Or did you just forget about it after that ride? If you kept track, you’d have seen it blast from 50 cents to about 20 bucks in a year. That driver probably became a millionaire!

I heard about bitcoin too, but honestly, it felt like a scam then. The media was super negative, pushing that vibe. When btc hit a high, it barely made the news compared to when it crashed!

I wouldn’t blame you for not believing the driver. Taxi drivers chat about all sorts of weird stuff. But if he really believed in it, he should’ve invested then and flaunt his wealth now.

Man, if only you had listened to him... you’d be rich by now! It’s crazy how a conversation like that could change your life.

The thing is, that guy seemed so sure about bitcoin. I even remember btc going to $5 later. It’s crazy to think he could’ve been Satoshi, but who knows? Great minds can come from anywhere.

You’re underestimating people’s understanding of bitcoin back then. Taxi drivers are busy and tired, so I doubt one was Satoshi. Why share this now after so long? If it was me, I would’ve spilled the tea when bitcoin hit $10k.

Plot twist: that driver is now chilling on a beach somewhere while you’re sharing his story. He tried to drop some wisdom on you!

Your experience is just like many others who ignored bitcoin back then. It’s wild how that driver impacted you so much. He was definitely insightful for his time.

Back then, taxis were full-time jobs. No Uber yet. So that driver was likely all in on his job.

But like, did you ever grab even a tiny piece of bitcoin? You had to have taken it seriously later on, right?

If I were you, I probably wouldn’t have trusted the driver either. Everyone thought bitcoin was just a silly trend. But yeah, regret isn’t gonna change the past.

People were just skeptical back then. Most didn’t even want to dig deeper into bitcoin. Now they regret not jumping in.

Maybe that cab driver was just someone who really saw the potential. I recall pushing my friends to invest in some random altcoin too... crazy times.

You’re telling us this story 15 years later? Where’ve you been? The whole ‘true story’ bit raises questions, honestly.

That driver might’ve been an angel in disguise! Back then, investing in bitcoin at 50 cents was a golden ticket. Too bad most ignored it.
