Hey folks, just wanted to jump in and share my trading journey. I’m @devertex, been in the game since 2013. 12 years of ups and downs, from exhilarating highs to some serious wrecks. Made it to about $700k in 2017, then took some $40-60k liquidations. Started on Poloniex and BitMEX, now I’m on Binance and other exchanges.
It's a wild ride, let me tell you. Eventually got into promoting Polymarket. Checked it out and it feels more like a luck-based site. It’s kinda like betting on sports and events, including crypto prices. But honestly, I’d rather analyze charts and trade futures instead of just betting.
Totally agree. Polymarket got popular with its 'News' section, where people bet on whether events will happen by a certain date. Like will GTA 6 drop this year or will the Ukraine war wrap up? But crypto trading on there is kinda 50/50... you can win or lose big, so you gotta be smart about it.
Trading on exchanges is way better, at least that's my take. I’m not super into futures, but for spot trading, Binance is my go-to. It’s more user-friendly. But yeah, if you’re a newbie and don’t know your stuff, you might end up losing a lot.
Been around this crypto thing since 2014. Gotta say, trading feels kinda like gambling, especially with altcoins. Most of them are just pump and dump schemes. You can’t really rely on charts to predict those. It’s more about some group pumping a random coin.
They keep pushing these bots claiming 70% win rates, but nah, I’m not buying it. Humans have the edge over machines with trading. It's risky business anyway, and relying on luck usually leads to more losses.
Yeah, Polymarket has its charm, but I still prefer using bots for trading. I found a pretty helpful one here, and it makes copy trading so much easier.
Polymarket's a betting site in disguise, lol. I call it gambling with flair. You can place bets on pretty much anything, like Bitcoin prices or other events. Definitely feels like an options market.
Quick question: is there a slot section on Polymarket? I’m curious because I’ve heard about it but never checked it out myself. Guess I’d prefer slots or sports betting over predictions.
Just to clarify, are you asking about traditional slot games? Polymarket is mainly for predictions, so I doubt they have any slots listed. It’s all about betting on the outcomes.
Polymarket can be automated, which is cool. They have an API and all that techy stuff. But honestly, if you don't have a strategy, automating without an edge just means losing faster and racking up fees. Prove your strategy first before going automated.
