I was using blockchain.com. Had over 4 btc stored there. Just sent some to my Poloniex account. Now I can’t see anything!

Did you check the transaction history? Sometimes the wallet doesn’t update immediately.

Yeah, I see the last transaction. I sent 50 USDT worth of btc and now it shows I have -4 btc. What the hell?

Sounds like you might have sent it to a change address. Did you check for that?

When you send a btc transaction, any leftover amount goes to a change address. Sometimes wallets don’t show that properly.

So you’re saying my btc isn’t gone? Just sitting somewhere else?

Exactly! Download Bluewallet and import your seed phrase. It might help you find your coins.

Seed phrase? You mean the 12 words, right?

Yeah, it could be more than that too. Just keep them safe.

Just checked, I see the 4.x btc at the new address! Gonna try sending it to a new wallet.

Nice! Make sure to back it up. Don’t keep too much in a hot wallet.

I’m thinking of using multiple wallets on my computer. Is that safe?

Better than one, but still risky. Consider a hardware wallet for your btc.

Hardware wallet? Like Trezor or something?

Yeah, much safer. Avoid keeping large amounts on mobile wallets.

Be careful with who you trust. Got a lot of scammers out there.
