So... does anyone know where to find solid on-chain BTC transaction volume stats? Couldn’t find anything for 2025 and the few charts I found are super misleading.

Google around for that info. Glassnode has all the on-chain data, but some stuff requires a paid plan. Yeah it’s kinda pricey, but it gives you the full picture.

Weekly data in USD? Yeah I see that. But annual stats in BTC? Not so sure. How do we really know Glassnode has what we need?

I mean, there must be a way to compile that data yearly. Check out blockchair too. Haven’t looked into it too deeply but might be worth a shot.

Lol good luck with that... On-chain data is tricky! Especially with change outputs inflating numbers. That’s why adjusted metrics are important.

For sure! But I feel like this used to be easier to access. Glassnode used to let you filter stuff out, now it feels like everything's behind paywalls.

I found something called 'change adjusted transaction volume' in BTC units! But yeah, they charge a ton to actually use the data.

If you hit up some accounts posting Glassnode info, you might snag a better deal. Seriously, some alternatives suck. Hiring a dev could be cheaper.

Exactly! Raw data is often inflated by those change outputs. If you look at 2026 without filtering, you’re just gonna confuse real activity with fluff.

Filtering out whale stuff isn’t always ideal since it can reflect real market actions. I mean, good wallets should ideally create new addresses to maintain privacy.
