So, we've got BlackRock and Strategy as the top corporate holders of Bitcoin. Strategy’s sitting on 843,738 BTC while BlackRock has 817,138 BTC, both using DCA to accumulate. Who do you think is gonna hit that million mark first? My bet’s on Strategy... What about you?

Honestly, I don’t think there’s really a vote here. It’s more about Bitcoin adoption. If that keeps growing, BlackRock will just keep adding BTC to its ETF. Plus, Saylor from Strategy believes they’re gonna reach 1 million first.

But they’re not even comparable! BlackRock manages ETFs but doesn’t actually own the Bitcoin directly. Strategy’s buying more and that BTC goes straight into their portfolio.

Agreed, MicroStrategy is doing better. They keep stacking Bitcoin consistently under Saylor’s lead. They just need a bit more to hit that million mark. Shouldn't take them long if they keep going like this.

What about discussing how Bitcoin will reach $1 million instead? These two companies dominate the convo but I don't want to keep focusing on them.

I see your point, but the way BlackRock is accumulating Bitcoin, they might outpace MicroStrategy eventually. We can’t really say who’ll hit a million first. Sure, MicroStrategy could buy in bulk, but they prefer DCA.

BlackRock’s too big to lose this. Just look at how fast they’re scooping BTC compared to Strategy. They’ve got more resources and can play the long game better.

I’m going with BlackRock too. They’re the biggest asset manager out there. Both use DCA for Bitcoin which works great. I just wish regular people had more Bitcoin instead of letting these institutions hoard it.

Comparing them doesn’t really make sense. BlackRock doesn’t own Bitcoin, the ETF investors do. MicroStrategy is the one actually holding the coins and they’ve done a great job accumulating.

100% agree. We should care more about Bitcoin adoption rather than which institution gets their first million. These big players are centralizing things and that goes against Bitcoin’s freedom ethos.

BlackRock's ETFs are just following market demand, meaning they ride the market waves. MicroStrategy, on the other hand, buys consistently, giving them a solid edge. They might hit a million first.

You’re partly right, but BlackRock does buy Bitcoin on the market, just for ETF holders. So saying they don’t buy is kinda misleading. MicroStrategy can wake up tomorrow and buy a ton, BlackRock has to wait for new investments.

This isn’t some huge deal. Getting to a million BTC doesn’t change much in the grand scheme of Bitcoin. MicroStrategy might reach it first, but BlackRock could easily catch up.

Strategy also raises funds through stocks and equity, so they don't solely rely on their own money for Bitcoin. They have a better shot at hitting 1 million BTC since they actively buy for themselves.

BlackRock’s the one that got the Spot ETF approved in the US. They’re key, even if other companies also got approved. Strategy didn’t apply for it, so they might be left behind.

Funny how both firms are so close in BTC yet so different in approach. BlackRock is ETF-focused while MicroStrategy is all about that direct ownership. This might take some time.

You’ve got this all wrong. BlackRock isn’t buying, ETFs are for investors. You can’t really compare them to Strategy, who buys for itself. It’s not a fair race.

I think MicroStrategy just has better purchase frequency. They’ve been buying consistently, like every month, which gives them a solid edge right now.

Strategy could reach a million fast especially given their buying strategy. BlackRock makes decisions based on investors, they could just wait around.

BlackRock has the market clout, but Strategy’s methodology gives them a chance too. Both have their strengths, it’s hard to pick a winner.
