Even if he lost 4 billion, he can bounce back to 8 billion soon. It's all about the market, right? But yeah, the big dip came from Bitcoin's price crashing and MicroStrategy's stock not doing well.

True, the whole strategy relies on Bitcoin going up. Anyone figured out the price where it all goes south for MicroStrategy?

I can't do the math either, but remember when Bitcoin hit $69K back in 2021? Everyone thought MicroStrategy would flop when Bitcoin dropped in 2022. It went down to like $15,400 and yet they survived. It won't surprise me if the naysayers are wrong again.

Exactly, it’s a market play. Even with the downturn, MicroStrategy keeps grabbing Bitcoin. They just bought over 8,000 BTC for around $835 million. Saylor believes in Bitcoin's future, and I respect that. People panic when prices fall but once they rise again, the media will switch sides.

And don’t forget about the preferred shares. They’re pretty secure. Can't recall the exact numbers, but they could drop significantly before it poses any real issues. Just check out fillippone’s thread for a deeper dive.
Are we talking about MicroStrategy’s whole portfolio here? Saylor’s wealth comes from the company, but he also holds a ton of Bitcoin himself.

Honestly, this drop didn’t shock me. It’s the nature of the game. But hey, the same asset that fell will rise again, just needs some time. Problem is MicroStrategy is getting dragged into this too. Like, if Bitcoin goes up, so will their stock.

It's a rollercoaster for him, for sure. Just a few years ago, he was barely a billionaire and now this happens. He should have anticipated this volatility, especially since he’s been backing Bitcoin so hard.
