I need a DEX where I can stake USDC or USDT and earn at least 8% per year. Heard about Perpmate having vaults but I'm not really sure how they work yet. They’re offering 5.29% on USDC through an HPL provider but there are vaults claiming 40-80% APR, which seems kind of crazy. Also checked yo protocol, says they offer around 7-8% but I haven’t seen many people using it. I know you guys are into BTC and ETH like me, but I wanna diversify into USDC, and when the market dips, I'll use it to grab some BTC.
Looking for DEX to stake USDC with good returns

Just a heads up, being a DEX doesn't mean your funds are totally safe. DeFi platforms can and do get hacked. Even the big-name ones have been hit before, so keep that in mind.

Yeah, there are some decent DEXes out there like Aerodromes, Uniswap v3, Aave v3, and Ethena. But you should know that Aave v3 usually gives around 3.5 to 5%, so hitting that 6-12% mark is gonna require some serious strategy. Also, remember that the 12% yield isn’t really interest, it’s more about the risk you took could drop in value.
sUSDe from Ethena offers under 6%, but it’s kinda close. Just hold it and the staked stablecoin should go up in value. I got a notification from Binance saying they have 20% APR for holding USD1, which is a stablecoin too. I mostly use USDC on Binance for trading, though that’s not a DEX.
If you're looking to earn safely from your stablecoins, I'd stick to a CEX instead of a DEX. Both have hacking risks, so it's about where you're willing to put your stablecoins for a return or just keep them safe in a hardware wallet.

You’re not planning to hold USDC long, right? If you wanna buy BTC soon, staking might not be worth it. You won't hit that 10 or 12% APY before you wanna cash out, and staking carries risks of loss if the platform gets hacked.
Heard that Chaser is offering 11%+, and it’s decentralized and relatively safe.
+1. Even if you use a secure hardware wallet, staking means you’re giving access to your funds to these platforms, and that’s always a risk. Think about low yields versus your funds' safety sometimes it’s just not worth it.

Staking pools can be found on both CEX and DEX, but locking your coins in those pools means they can get compromised. And with stablecoins, they can get frozen in non-custodial wallets too. So you’re doubling the risk by staking not a good move.
Honestly, staking USDC is a risky move. Just sitting on USDC could backfire if it tanks tomorrow. Better to invest that money elsewhere like SP500 for a steadier return. Bonds could be a safer bet too.
