Looking to get my hands on a BTC miner for around $200-$400. Any suggestions? Is it even worth it considering how high the difficulty is now?

If you’re in the US, I've got a custom s19xp miner. It’s a solid piece with a controller that hits around 20 to 35 TH. Not exactly in your price range though it's about $500. Burns around 500 to 900 watts.

How many amps does that thing draw?

At 120V, it pulls about 7 to 8 amps full speed. If you switch to 240V, it drops to 3.5 to 4 amps. Check out my thread for more details.

You sound like an electrician or something.

Not quite, just a DIY enthusiast. Messed with audio gear in the 80s, then speakers in the 90s, and dabbled with PCs and mining since the early 2010s. I thought about being an electrical engineer, but I’m colorblind which complicates things. Got navy training in computers and a degree in accounting.

I’ve seen a few S19 miners getting underclocked to save power.

Yeah, the one I was asking about was the S19. Appreciate the input!

My miner is actually a 1-board version, and it can go as low as 16 TH with a 120V or 240V setup. It pulls around 500 watts. Got another T21 1-board model too, but it’s pricier and more efficient.

I checked out your YouTube videos, super impressive! This whole tweaking and playing around with miners is totally my jam!
