If you’re in the US, I've got a custom s19xp miner. It’s a solid piece with a controller that hits around 20 to 35 TH. Not exactly in your price range though it's about $500. Burns around 500 to 900 watts.
Not quite, just a DIY enthusiast. Messed with audio gear in the 80s, then speakers in the 90s, and dabbled with PCs and mining since the early 2010s. I thought about being an electrical engineer, but I’m colorblind which complicates things. Got navy training in computers and a degree in accounting.
My miner is actually a 1-board version, and it can go as low as 16 TH with a 120V or 240V setup. It pulls around 500 watts. Got another T21 1-board model too, but it’s pricier and more efficient.
