Been checking out LocalCoinSwap and man, red flags everywhere. They say it's a safe P2P zone, but my experience says otherwise. Got ads for cash trades, then they hit you with a 25x markup when you open a trade. What gives?

Cash in-person is a risky game. Seriously, if you don’t know the person, just don’t. You risk losing your Bitcoin or cash, or worse, your life. That 25x markup is just a setup to rip you off.
But hey, traders can set their own terms. You agree when you open the trade. P2P has its risks, like bank freezes and chargebacks. Stick with bank transfers if you want safety.

Honestly, LocalCoinSwap feels a lot like Paxful. And yeah, that place is known for being a scammer’s playground. Cash-in-person trades should be banned. They’re just waiting to scam you.
I gotta disagree. I use LocalCoinSwap weekly and have had no issues. Just be picky about who you trade with. I always avoid face-to-face trades and stick with verified users.
No platform wants scammers. LocalCoinSwap is trying to be legit, but payment methods like gift cards are hard to verify. Always check feedback before jumping into a trade.
Never tried LocalCoinSwap, but it looks like LocalBitcoins. I searched around and didn’t find any scam claims, but dealing with randoms is risky. Only trade with those who have high ratings.
Scammers are everywhere, even on big exchanges like Binance. Follow good trading rules, and you should be fine. I’ve used LocalCoinSwap and never lost a cent.
I think the issue is more about your ability to spot good traders. Newbies fall for scams easily, especially with all those promos. I won’t trade on random exchanges.

You nailed it. LocalCoinSwap itself isn’t the scam; it’s just heavily populated by sketchy users. Most scams come from payment methods like gift cards.
I’ve used LocalCoinSwap multiple times without any issues. Sure, there are some shady traders, but that’s just how P2P is. Did you save your chat history? Maybe show it to us.
Cash trades can be risky for sure. These sellers change terms as soon as you're in. They promise low rates upfront then hit you with a 25x markup. That's a scam.

P2P is full of people trying to take your money. It's not just LocalCoinSwap. Always be cautious, or just buy Bitcoin directly from established exchanges.
Why not use a bank transfer instead?
Banks aren’t very friendly to crypto, especially for big amounts.

Trust your gut when trading, but have a solid risk management plan. Don’t communicate on other platforms like WhatsApp if they ask you to. Always check trader history.

Accusing the platform of negligence is a big deal. It seems legit, but they need scam reports to take action. Report scammers when you see them.
I’m not blaming anyone; just wondering if all disputes are closed without input from both sides. How do scammers get so many trades under their belt?
Accounts with high trade numbers can still be scams. They might buy accounts or game the system with multiple profiles. Disputes should involve both parties.

Exactly! Some shady traders make it look like they've done legit trades. I treat every trade like it’s dangerous. Better safe than sorry.
