Is Richard Heart just another crypto scammer?

A bunch of crypto analysts are raising red flags about HEX, which claims to be the first high-interest blockchain certificate of deposit. The returns it promises sound outrageous, especially for early investors. Richard Heart, the guy behind it, has been pushing this for a while now.

I saw on Twitter that Richard was launching something, but I didn't think much of it. Now I see everyone talking about HEX, and I missed the boat by a week. The price tanked already. Those promised returns look insane, but with the price at 6 satoshis, it might be worth buying if it ever goes up. Still feels sketchy, though.

Honestly, I always thought Richard was building up to something like this. He comes off as a marketer who's all about cashing in on his Crypto Twitter fame. It feels like an 'honest' Ponzi scheme to me. Huge profits on paper, but no real value. Just waiting for the next fool to come along.

I heard he had some shady past before crypto, maybe in Panama? Who knows what's true in this space. But his actions lately are pretty loud. He seems like someone who thinks he's better than everyone else, almost like he's doing people a favor by taking their money.

I don't trust anyone with money. If there's a way to really help, show me the algorithm that benefits everyone. Financial advice from famous people usually ends up being a scam. I haven't looked into HEX much, but it feels like a new token for Richard to get rich.

Yeah, now he's all over Twitter, but he got exposed as a scammer. He even got some other personalities involved, like TPB.

Someone broke down HEX on Medium. It's all a bit shady, but we shouldn't be shocked by these attempts. Makes me wonder how many others are building their reputations for the same reasons.

Imagine if Satoshi had done an ICO, kept half the mining rewards, and controlled lost coins. That's kinda how HEX's distribution looks.

It's funny (but not in a good way) to see Bitcoin maximalists like Tone Vays and Peter McCormack call out Richard. They're just giving him free exposure. It's so obvious this is a scam, yet they debate him. All Ether sent to the contract goes straight to him, and that's a lot of money.

Not the kind of fame anyone should want. If proven a scam, it’ll be easy to go after him since he’s so well-known. He seems to have no conscience about scamming people for fame.

In crypto, influencers don’t lose their reputations. Even if they did, I doubt many would care as long as they make bank. Richard went from rekt to multi-millionaire. Ethereum's got POS coming, where real Ether can be earned, but people are buying HEX instead. It’s like buying a pile of crap.

Totally agree with that tweet. HEX's only purpose seems to be attracting new investors to pump the price. It’s clearly a Ponzi scheme, but people still blind themselves and invest. I bet they’ll regret it when it crashes.

A lot of early investors know it’s a scam but don’t care. They’re either taking no risk or think it’ll play out like Bitconnect. They know the market’s gullible and just want to cash in.

He knows what HEX is about (it’s a scam, obviously), but he pretends it’s legit. He’s crafty with this stuff. I remember a video a few years back where he was jealous of Ethereum profits. Now he’s pushing his own token.

You nailed it. Even today, people jump into these schemes hoping for quick profits before they collapse. They know the risks but just chase the money. Just like with Bitconnect, everyone knew it was a Ponzi, but money kept flowing in.

I always think that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Projects that play on our greed usually end up bad. I don’t know much about Richard Heart, but he seems to lack concern for potential victims.

You just realized that? Respect your stoicism. Crypto will always attract the immoral. It’s a paradise for scammers until it gets boring.

The greed in crypto is unreal. Newbies just wanna get rich quick, diving into riskier investments. It’s a buffet for scammers who can find victims anywhere. Once they have your money, it’s gone.

I wonder if Richard's caught the SEC's eye. I don't see any investment restrictions for US folks. Seems like a common enterprise expecting profits from others’ efforts. Why are people buying HEX if they don’t believe his return promises?

I follow some crypto lawyers on Twitter, and they’re not as confident about his project as he is. He seems pretty slippery, though, so maybe he knows something we don’t.
